Amber Alert 3.0 Shop Guide

Use the new Amber Alert 3.0 Shop safely, separate currencies, compare item roles, plan purchases, and verify changing prices and persistence.

The Amber Alert 3.0 update officially includes a new Shop. Use it during the lobby or lower-pressure phase, read the current item card, and buy only after naming the problem you want to solve. Historical Shop guides can suggest categories, but exact location details, prices, scaling, stock, and effects must come from the current server.

Find and read the Shop

In the 3.0 lobby, locate the Shop label before queueing. It is also the official landmark for the Legacy and 2.0 portals, which the creator places behind the Shop. Do not enter those portals while trying to open a normal purchase panel.

Inside a match, use the current task and map UI to locate any Shopkeeper, screen, or purchase area. Older community sources describe a Shopkeeper and apple exchange, but the 1990 House flow needs direct confirmation. Approach while the route is clear and leave an observer if the interface blocks your view.

Read name, category, currency, price, description, uses, and persistence. On PC, F is officially listed for unlocking the mouse. On mobile and console, check focus before confirming, especially when Robux is involved.

Separate the currencies

Match cash, Amber, and Robux serve different purposes in community records. Cash supports in-run purchases, Amber unlocks broader progression such as classes, and Robux buys gamepasses. The current symbol and confirmation screen decide which one applies.

Do not convert an old apple value into a current budget. Community material describes starting apples and Shop exchange, while changelogs document difficulty-based price changes. Verify the current amount received and whether it is personal or shared.

Never assume a free code will fund the purchase. Current code sources conflict, and rewards can be crates or other inventory rather than loose Amber. Check the actual balance first.

Compare Shop sections

Defense

Choose delay, detection, route control, lighting, or recovery when an opening or downed player ends runs.

Offense

Choose damage or stun only after confirming the current threat can be affected and the route supports direct action.

Utility

Choose CCTV, time information, or visibility when the team cannot gather the information needed for a safe route.

Farming

Choose resource generation early enough that the remaining run can repay the cost without sacrificing survival.

Community records also mention gamepass, Gary, and exclusive sections. Confirm whether those labels exist in the new Shop and whether an entry is decorative, persistent, or tied to Roblox ownership.

Choose a purchase order

First solve information and route failures. If you cannot locate danger, compare lighting, detection, or CCTV. If an opening collapses, compare a defense or control tool. If the team survives contact but cannot recover, inspect support. Only then consider offense or long-term economy unless the live objective clearly requires them.

Buy the cheapest current option that solves the observed problem, not the cheapest item overall. Check whether one use is enough and whether the selected map supports it. A camera upgrade with no useful feed or a trap with no valid surface has no practical value.

Coordinate squad spending. Avoid duplicate purchases until stacking or shared ownership is confirmed. Tell teammates the remaining balance and intended placement so the route does not become cluttered.

Use apples and farming cautiously

Older community guides describe receiving apples, selling them to the Shopkeeper, and buying trees or farming improvements. If that loop exists in 3.0, record starting amount, plot location, growth time, collection, sale interaction, value, and difficulty. Do not rely on the historical per-apple figure.

Early economy can fund later defenses, but time spent farming can leave tasks or windows unattended. Assign the role only when the team has coverage. Solo players should prove the basic survival route before investing heavily.

Calculate break-even: cost divided by additional value per cycle, then compare with remaining cycles. If either number is unknown, treat the purchase as experimental rather than required.

Shop safely during a round

Approach along a known route and check nearby windows. Close the panel as soon as the decision is complete. Reconfirm movement and camera before leaving; an unlocked pointer or focused menu can make controls feel stuck.

Do not browse every category at night. Decide the item name or role before opening. If a teammate calls danger, cancel the purchase and clear the route rather than finishing the menu action.

After purchase, inspect inventory and balance. Confirm the item arrived, read its control, and test placement or activation during a safer moment.

Classes and discounts

Community documentation links Shopper, Starter, Farmer, Rich Kid, Engineer, Trapper, Police, and SWAT to Shop-related roles or equipment. Current perks, costs, and access need the 3.0 class panel.

If a perk claims a discount, compare the same item on the same difficulty and purchase count. If it grants a starting tool, distinguish that from a Shop unlock. If it requires an upgrade, budget both parts before queueing.

Do not assume multiple class bonuses or VIP multipliers stack. Current VIP tracking specifically reports a non-stacking warning for some multipliers, which shows why purchase descriptions matter.

Troubleshoot a purchase

If the balance changes but no item appears, check inventory, placement mode, and any grant location before clicking again. If the button is disabled, read requirements, stock, currency, and current class. If a Robux prompt appears for an in-run cash item, cancel and verify the selected card.

If Shop interaction freezes input, close the panel once, regain camera control, and move to safety. Older changelogs mention purchase and interface bugs, so repeated clicks can make the state harder to understand.

Source and verification boundary

The official 3.0 Roblox page confirms the new Shop, items, upgrades, and portals behind it. Historical categories and apple mechanics come from the community Shop page, while older changelogs document price and scaling changes. Current Shop positions, categories, currencies, prices, stock, effects, sharing, and persistence require live confirmation.

Use Items List for names, Gamepasses for Robux products, and Upgrades for longer purchase paths.

Frequently asked questions

What should I buy first?

Buy the current affordable option that solves the first repeatable failure: information, lighting, route control, recovery, direct defense, or economy.

Are apples still worth money in 3.0?

Older community guides say so, but the current value and loop need the live 3.0 match.

Where are the old-version portals?

The creator says Legacy and 2.0 portals are behind the lobby Shop.
